Everyone has something they can give. Time, treasure, or talents.
Sing? Play music? Bake? Like teaching children? Sew? Paint? Are you good with finances or repairs? Host a weekly coffee hour- with homemade or store-bought cookies. Help with fundraising. Join a committee. Show up for a few hours to help sort toys near Christmas. Plan an event. Join the choir or talk with the music director about special music. Sign up to be on the greeter or reader schedule. Are you good at decorating? We have a dedicated group who make the church beautiful for Christmas, Easter, Ordinary time, and all the seasons. Come pull weeds, make coffee, or put flowers at the altar. It all matters.
What is Legacy Giving?
Legacy Giving (or Planned Giving) can transform the future of Sauk City UCC and ensure that it thrives well into the lives of future generations. By making a Legacy Gift, your support of Sauk City UCC will last beyond your lifetime.
The typical person who makes a legacy gift isn’t a millionaire or independently wealthy. Rather, most legacy givers are simply members who want to make a commitment to the future of our church.
Leaving a legacy to Sauk City UCC only takes a little planning. It can be as simple as including a bequest to First UCC in your will or trust, or naming Sauk CityUCC a beneficiary on your retirement plan or insurance policy.
There are various options for making legacy gifts to the congregation. We encourage you to work with your attorney and/or financial advisor to select the approach that is right for you.
