We conclude our Theology in SciFi and Fantasy summer series this week? What have we learned? What interesting questions have we asked?

The first reading is Exodus 1:8-2:10, when Pharaoh plans the death of the Jewish babies, and midwives Shiprah and Puah will not comply. Moses’ mother hides him away, then places him in a basket in the Nile, and Pharaoh’s daughter takes baby Moses from the river. The Gospel is Matthew 15: (10-20), 21-28, when Jesus heals the daughter of a Syrophoenician woman (after she argues with him a bit).

Communion for all. Coffee hour after the service.
