The Sunday after Pentecost is often called Trinity Sunday. We have just experienced the Holy Seasons- Advent, Christmas, Lent, Easter, Pentecost. Now Trinity Sunday shifts attention from these great feasts into Ordinary Time- the ongoing Christian life of growth in love and service. But what is the Trinity? Why does this difficult to comprehend point of doctrine even matter?
