Faith in Action:
Walking the Walk
Open and Affirming- (OnA): Committed to justice for all people. In 2022, Sauk City UCC voted to become “Open and Affirming”, an official designation in the UCC for churches that deliberately have chosen to commit to welcome, affirm, and advocate for the full inclusion of lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and queer persons. We welcome God’s LGBT children for exactly who they are and know that we are all utterly beloved by God.
“Love God with all your heart. Love your neighbor as yourself.” Jesus. First United Church of Christ is an Open and Affirming Congregation. We strive to foster loving and caring relationships in our church and community, as we welcome and value all people – whoever you are, however you identify, whomever you love, whatever your story. No matter who you are or where you are on life’s journey, you are welcome as you are here at First United Church of Christ – Sauk City.
National UCC Open and Affirming Coalition
Help Excite Little People- for 20 Years, Sauk City UCC has organized Christmas gifts for children and families in need. We are gathering, organizing, cleaning, repairing, checking batteries in, etc items for kids and youth in our community. If you would like to help, check the calendar for HELP Work sessions! Gently used items may be brought to the church throughout November and December.
