Wednesday February 18th. Ash Wednesday. Drop-in ashes available 11-1. Evening Ash service in partnership with Concordia UMC, at Concordia at 6pm.

Wednesdays during Lent 5:30pm for education/ discussion and soup dinner. We will do two of these education nights with Concordia Methodist, one at each church----we will go to Concordia UMC on Wednesday, March 4, and Concordia folks will join us at First UCC on March 18. Feb 25, Mar 4 with Concordia, at Concordia UMC, March 11, March 18 with Concordia UMC at First UCC, March 25.

Thursdays during Lent, 12-1 First UCC, Concordia UMC, and St John’s Lutheran will take turns hosting spiritual practices/ short services and lunch.
Feb 26 at First UCC, Mar 5 at St John’s Lutheran, Mar 12 at Concordia Methodist, Mar 19 at St John’s Lutheran, and Mar 26 at First UCC.

March 29. Palm Sunday Path.

April 2 6pm Maundy Thursday Service with Concordia UMC at First UCC. Remembering the last supper, foot washing, and Jesus’ new commandment to love as he loved. Followed by a shared meal (potluck).

April 3 6pm Good Friday Service, remembering the arrest and execution of Jesus.

April 5. 9am. Easter Sunday Service.

Every Tuesday at 6:30pm, In the Quiet, Peace. In these chaotic and anxious times, a short break to be. Be quiet, be contemplative, be relaxed. When there seems to be no peace, may we find peace within and together. Everyone is welcome- whether UCC, another denomination, non-Christians, agnostics, atheists. Peace be with us.
